Contradictions in Terms of Service - What Can I Do?

My company is interested in using the Google Sitemaps technology. The
FAQ says Google welcomes company sites using sitemaps. The TOS says it
can not be used for commercial purposes at all.

Which is correct? Should my company go ahead with its plans to create
sitemap files and submit them, or should we abandon the whole
enterprise?
