[glg2] group alerts broken?

Any ideas?:

I'm trying to create alerts for google groups (aka newsgroups). I've
tried several different variations, but always get an email saying
"Zero results were found the first time ...". Yet when I manually
click on the alerts, they show thousands of results.

For example, compare this URL
<http://groups.google.com/groups?q=stroller+group:ott.*> to this email:

Google Alerts [googlealerts-nore...@google.com] wrote:

I can't figure it out. Any ideas?
