Wow, you're quite observant. I originally wrote one sentence "What you
wrote isn't valid French." and then went back to change my phrasing
but failed to update the singular verb (which matches the mass noun I
used as a subject) to plural (to match the plural subject).

That was quite pedantic, I'm sorry to say.
