GWA installation program froze at the step of "Checking for Firefox"
When I initially installed Google Web Accelerator (GWA), the
installation program got to the point of "Checking for Firefox" and
then froze up. I do not have firefox on my computer. (I operate
windows XP and windows IE).
I tried to cancel the installation, but my computer told me that the
Google Web Accelerator program was not responding. I then shut down my
computer to end the Google Web Accelerator program. When I rebooted
next time, Google Web Accelerator appeared installed. Google Web
Accelerator prevents me from accessing the Internet. To access the
interent, I need to manually turn off Google Web Accelerator each time
I want to access the internet.
I now wish to uninstall Google Web Accelerator. However, the Google
Web Accelerator does not appear in my Control Panel "Add or Remove
Programs." I tried to reinstall Google Web Accelerator, but got the
same results: the installation program got to the point of "Checking
for Firefox" and then froze up.
OK, HELP! How do I uninstall Google Web Accelerator
