problem with XIcon ext. with clearOverlays()

Hi,

Trying to use xIcon custom icons, using XIcon('rounded-box',.... and
noticed that the border's disappear and then reappear every other time
I call clearOverlays()

Would be very greatful if anyone has seen this before and knows how to
cure it?
