I wouldn't be that sure. That's the official policy, but from some
recently published cases (which I didn't investigate) there may be
scenarios where artificial gained inbound links can hurt. You won't be
part of a bad neighborhood, won't you? Also, all (reciprocal) link
schemes fail eventually. They don't help anymore.
