Re: New Firefox 1.5 breaks infowindows?

I am back to comment on this - damn it this infowindow layout problem
in Firefox 1.5RC really sucks. My map was so nice when the windows
would dynamically determine their size. Now titles break all weird
because I have to use a fixed width infowindow just to keep the
contents from spilling all out and all over the floor.

This problem existed long ago (and still does) in Safari, but since I
was annoyed that Apple just had to develop another browser that was
based on an open source one, but was not a contribution, full of their
own annoying layout quirks I felt no great urgency to cater to them.
Firefox was available for Apple, so apple buyers could use that if they
wanted it to look pretty. I felt no compulsion to help institutionalize
another proprietary browser. But now, ugh, this Firefox upgrade is not
playing nice. I have no idea if this can be addressed by the Google Map
team or if its a Firefox issue, but it sure would be nice if the map
engine could be reworked to dynamically create the size of the info
windows after the html contents are loaded....it was sooooo nice.

Oh please Hanukkah Harry, please upgrade or send me a hack for the map
engine this Kwanza!
