[glg2] Re: Images in webarchive

I don't know what it is, but the image on the page below simply doesn't
show up in my browser:

It seems to be a jpg, since the properties say the following:
http://groups.google.com/group/poets/attach/b8849bc44edc58fc/image001.jpg?part=4&thumb=1

But how can this be a problem with my browser or computer, if I have no
problems viewing images at some other groups, e.g. at the Libertaria
group:
http://groups.google.com/group/libertaria/browse_frm/thread/7615e8fc2d8f4ef0?tvc=1
Perhaps those do show up because they are gifs stored at tinypic.com?

BTW, Images also don't show up when groupowners want to moderate
messages on the web. That can be a problem, because moderators need to
view pictures that are added to check if they are acceptable.
Furthermore, backgrounds don't show up in the webarchive altogether.
Compare the above message to the Libertaria group at Google with the
same message to the Libertaria group at Yahoo, where the background
does show up:

Wouldn't it be great if the Googlegroup webarchive also showed
background colors?

And I still don't know why I cannot get the above image to show up for
me, I mean in the webarchive of the poets group.

Hope that someone can figure it out...
Anyone who wants to make this into a wishlist for 2006?
