Thank you Bryon! I checked the ID utility again and found that the
Notifier was the culprit. Finding no settings, I uninstalled it. That
SEEMED to stop the dialups, but then I begand getting similar 9though
less frequent) dialup, which I then traced to Google Desktop. I'm
looking for settings or preferences for that now, but if it persists
THAT will also become a fond memory.
