[Google-Desktop] [BUG] Reclaim desktop after exiting sidebar

If I exit while running in sidebar mode, the desktop space is not
deallocated, i.e. maximizing windows leaves the portion of screen
previously allocated to the sidebar empty. I have to remove the sidebar
and then exit to reclaim the space.
