[Google-Desktop] Re: mac versions

Actually, Google Desktop was built in response to Mac's OS X Tigers Built in search functionality.  This functionality allows Mac users to search for files, pictures, etc... right from the OS desktop and it part of the operating system.  So it is likely this will not be ported over to Mac since Mac already has something better, as Jobs would say.
