[Google-Desktop] This version of Google Desktop is already installed

Hi,

I had GDS working fine on my WinXP SP2. Since I didn't have the latest
updates to GDS I uninstalled and tried to Reininstall it again.

I get the following error. "This version of Google Desktop is already
installed". I removed the relevant Registry entries, removed the index
but still I get the same error.

Please let me know how to get rid of this error and install GDS.
