I want to find out lat and lng of markers

Hi,

 

I want to find out lat and lng of markers which have been placed from database queries and not from xml file. I attached listener to all markers. If a marker is clicked I want to get its position in terms lat  and lng so that I can fetch corresponding property index .

 

Aren’t lat and lng implicit attributes of marker??

If these are , why don’t I get values of lat  and lng using

 

var latt = parseFloat(marker.getAttribute("lat"));

var long = parseFloat(marker.getAttribute("lng"));

 

Is there any other way to find out lat and lng of markers,

 

Please help me out.
