[lug] Re: Another GRUB, Linux, Win98, WinXP Question
OK, so you can boot directly into linux and into XP. You need to add
the capability to boot directly into Win98.
You need to edit your grub.conf file and add the following
title Win98
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1
I'm not 100% sure but I think that the rootnoverify (hd0,0) tells grub
to boot from first partition of the first harddrive and chainloader +1
tells it to boot from first byte of that partition.
Then edit your boot.ini on windows XP and delete the line for win98 to
get rid of the XP boot menu.
I cant guarantee that it will work but its worth a try.
Hope this helps.
