U use Suse and tell me the efect Probably I have encountered the same
with Suse
I made the grub entries in Suse manually
U leave the Suse part to be entered
If u want to do graphically then boot in rescue mode on the first CD
of Suse when u boot it will automatically give u the Rescue mode just
see
there are options to boot from hard disk and install and then there is
an option to boot in recue mode go to that
and then there is an option to repair although I have been playing
with my system I will sugest that ifu are using grub from Suse Cd let
it do its work once u are able to get the grub inSuse then reply u have
to manually edit the entries to get other linux if u have them in the
hard disk
I am not at home So I will tell u by 30th till then just give it a try
