Yes this depend on what service u want to start
for example for network
u need to do it
#/etc/init.d/network restart

look in to /etc/rc.d
or the rc.5 files u will see a lot of services having names starting
with
S and a number after them if this is what u refer to then just restart
the services d I had said for the network
if a service begins with the name K then
u can not start that
since I had tried I did not got any command like
service as we have in feora
but here
chkconfig works
