If you have not already reinstalled XP, I don't think you have to, you
can reset the MRB. Windows keeps a copy of the original before SuSE
made changes. Then you could just reinstall SuSE.

There are also utilities on the XP cd that will repair MBR. Let me
know what you have done so far.
