maps.google.com breaking on Safari?

As of this morning around 10:30 AM Seattle, time it appears that the
maps API has changed? It is now no longer possible it seems to access
maps.google.com using Safari on Panther.. FireFox 1.5 on Panther is now
screaming about a lot of z-index errors and poly shape errors for the
info box.

Anyone else noticing this? (By the way IE on a PC is also doing strange
things....)
