Re: 99% of problems with uploading is USE MERCHANT CENTER

I started out on Dec. 4 and everything was good and up in 2 stages last
night (Dec. 6)
Image came in at a later time. Though I am a small feed - I was stuck
in awaiting upload and errors and failures for a couple of days but
thankfully not 3 weeks! So maybe it's getting better?

When store was up I noticed all these weird question marks appearing?
in? Description text? when viewing? the store ... so I opened the file
and pasted it carefully into a word doc to view the typing because the
Notepad txt version didn't show them.

I removed the visible in Word quetion marks and also had to remove
quotation marks and odd spaces such as this inside these brackets: (
... ) double spaces, and even some ( ' ) apostrophes that appeared as
question marks and re-fed this morning and it got thru in an hour no
problem.

Also be careful in Notepad txt not to touch the tabs that were there
when /if you typed it in Excel before saving as .txt file - they are
impossible to see in Notepad for me anyhow and one of my errors was
alerted as "TABS". A suggestion about re-typing info in your feed file
in Notepad:

To cut and paste any new changes ... in my Description I cut after the
first letter and before the last letter to make sure I was safely
within the Desciption cell only, and not erasing the tabs (that you
could see in Excel) and then pasted my cleaned up text between them.
