Yes it plays audio tracks.
Yes it obey's my in and outs when I insert the clip.

Yes, it came with many .avi shots, stills, audio, etc. They all load
perfectly.

Since the demo projects load and everything, I think its something with
my .avi's

Someone mentioned to me "I just uncompressed the avi files and it
worked" - But I don't know how to uncompress an avi file.
