Re: AJAX MIXER How to generate AJAX XML data up/down stream/s mixer ?

I think I'm starting to understand where your idea is going...

Using Maps as just an example....

You have your map that's hosted on a central server, this contains the
actual map data - the basis for the app.

On top of this in your app, you will be pulling XML streams from
different servers to be mixed with your map... Something like you could
pull data about the latitude and longitude or something from some other
server, then display this onto your map.

If this is the idea... I don't really see anything that's all that new
or innovative about it... In the apps I work on, I could be pulling
from multiple XML files and using the data from each one together or
separately at any given time.

If it is an artpiece you're looking to develop, you should have said
that to begin with.

"developing more sophisticated application than Google
Earth.
But what counts is money and not good approach. "

Why would you ever put money before good approach? If you're in it for
the money, do us all a favour and go work for some nasty corporation we
all love to hate. This in my opinion is the main reason for Google's
success. If you notice, everything Google puts out is of the highest
quality, and anytime you hear about business related affairs, Google is
never looking for the biggest lump sum of cash, they're looking for the
talent, the people with the good approach. Seriously, this comment
that you make here, reminds me way too much of a few of the major
companies that feel threatened by Google. Making it their object to
"kill Google" while maximizing their own profits. And you look at the
products these companies release and they are total CRAP, that barely
even do what they're meant to.

Sorry for the rant, but that comment really got to me.
