The most common recommendation to new comers is to post a link to your
site. Many eyes ... are like ... many hands.

Have you registered for an API key at
http://www.google.com/apis/maps/signup.html ? Does the site you
registered match the URL where you are serving the page?

Are you posting the example code they provide at the end of that
process into a page on your site? I would first recommed that you past
that code into a text file on you local workstation. Then transfer that
file to your web server.
