Re: Large amount of marker overlay caused browser freeze

I've had the same problems / questions. I'm just wondering how much of
the issue is related to the loading and sorting of the sidebar and/or
the size of the xml?

I don't seem to have this issue with the firefox browser. I noticed
that the map on wilsonvisuals.com loads pretty quick and it does not
have a sidebar and it has small maker images.

How much does the size (byte size) of th marker affect the loading? I
do a lot of parsing of the xml data in my javascript program to display
in the infowindow. My xml file is static, should I pre-parse the data
and have it in my xml file or should I let the javascript program do
it?
