javascript.

We employ the "display markers in viewable area" strategy. When you pan
around the map, the javascript calls for more markers from the
database. All markers are sent out as short bursts of data as users pan
around so sending and displaying is very fast. The other nice side
benefit is that after you have pan around the map for a while, you'll
end up with hundreds of markers that stays around.
