Otherwise, I would suggest that you install Firefox or Opera and watch
for diagnostics in the javascript console.

If that fails to lead to a solution, install the Javascript debugger
(Venkman) extension to Firefox.

I have seen that kind of problem when I've passed the wrong type of
data into a function. I am sure there may be other causes.
