Re: Previewing a Google Map before publishing

Sure, Ken,

Save the page and then simply hit F12. This will render a preview in
your default browser. You can also go to

File>Preview in Browser

for a variety of preview options with different sizes (1024X768, etc.)
and browsers.

The only problem is that you will have to endure the nag pop-up which
tells you that the Google API was registered for a different website.
The API "knows" it is being used outside the domain is is registered to
and so will give you that warning. Just hit OK and it will continue to
work and give you the preview.

The previews are pretty much faithful to what you will be the eventual
appearance online except there may be some differences in the
appearance of text if you are using CSS. Not sure why. I'm sure
somebody does know, just not me...
