Re: problems with javascript and select box with gmap

man, I had a long post, and I closed my browser! Arrggg...

So, I need to see your query to even load the page. Then, what
variables, ie how many + their parameters.
This I input to mysql: http://mikx2.com/vault/map/mapinputs.php
and this I get from mysql as a valid xml doc:
http://mikx2.com/vault/map/xml.php
here is my project, not even close to presentable, but it is an example
of writing data directly to xml file:
http://mikx2.com/bag/beta_d30.php

I don't know how you are going to get very many variables on an event
into a query without some kind of container like Mike says using " use
switch(document.getElementById("propertyType").selectedIndex) before
executing the request "

Why not just collect the info from a clickhandler ie: the lat, lng, and
zoom - into hidden fields, and then get them to select the 'type' with
your drop down that submits on show, or whatever it s when a submit
happens when you make a choice.
let mysql figure out the area from the center point and the zoom.
