The fact that there is no "mark everything as read" option: Maybe
google wants to keep track of what you really read as opposed to what
you just mark as read but never really look at."Attention" is a
buzzword (Steve Gillmor has been talking about it for ages) and it
might be important for Google to keep track of your "attention" cause
there are implications as to the Google advertising system.
