A Conspiracy theory

After a lot of serious thinking about the reason for google sitemaps I
have come to a conclusion as to where google is going.

Consider this:

Sitemaps have been around since year dot now why have them validated
when they can be validated by spidering anyway?

Right so lets look at the process

1) create sitemap

2) submit sitemap

3) ............. ?

4) Sitemap validated

Does that look vaguely familiar I wonder? Number 3 couldn't be "pay
£10-00" could it? It looks like a shopping cart!

I think that the next step for sitemaps is they will be made compulsary

then after that the next step is you will have to pay to have them
included in google.
