realize that you just put all those people in your address book in
serious risk of their emails being automatically (or even manually)
harvested by someone for the purposes of sending spam to them.

By putting all those addresses in the To: field, you're leaving them
as easy targets for such purposes because they're visible to anyone on
the web. Next time, consider putting them all in BCC: so that they're
hidden from each other.
