"moveend" event not fired when "recenterOrPanToLatLng" draws new map

Hi,
When the map is panned after using 'recenterOrPanToLatLng', I use the
'moveend' event to call a fuction for a different div on the page. But
when recenterOrPanToLatLng doesn't pan, but recenters, moveend isn't
triggered.

Does anyone have ideas to work around this? How far out of bounds does
a point have to be to call a centerAtLatLng(latLng) rather than a pan?
