Re: Please help me make sure im not missing something
Ya thats what i always believed and also what matt cutts has actually
stated one time or another on his blog ( well actually he said they did
used to but they stopped).
That being said i have posted a thread over at www.seochat.com to see
what the seocommunity thinks as a whole (cant be bothered with
webmasterworld although i do lurk there) as a recheck to see if anyone
"thinks" they have emperical evidence one way or the other.
The other thing about phils answers (and i am not poring scorn on his
suggestions ... indeed i am fully acting on most of them [ removing all
links to sites that link back to me from a page with over 100 links on a
page]) that went dead against my understanding.
In general a site considered as a linkfarm would be banned / dechashed.
That being said i was wondering if i should remove all unchashed sites
(in fact that was what i was doing before i asked the question in the
first place) from my links pages and ignore the numbers of links on the
pages as i used to do.
However to be prudent i am taking phils advice i figure why not.
Any comments computergenius ?
Cheers,
Simon
