Re: This is not fair...!!!

A couple thoughts:

1) Google values what other people who are already "valuable" say about
your site. Do you have links with "tuzcolar" in them from pages that
are "valuable" to Google? That's the number one thing you will need if
you want your pages to list higher. Why should Google trust your site -
it KNOWS that YOU want your site to be listed, otherwise you wouldn't
put it online - it wants to know what the others think of your site.

2) Clean code helps - a lot. If Google can't extract clean content from
your site, then it can't list you with that content.

3) Abide to Googles webmaster guidelines. Anything you as a "hobby
webmaster" (sorry, not meant in a bad way) do to try to trick Google
will probably be caught automatically - and be either discounted or
even used as a negative point against your site (pros still have enough
tricks up their sleeves, but if you don't have the time, money and
disposeable sites available to do this full-time, then I wouldn't even
try - see
http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/seo-mistakes-not-checking-your-site/ and
http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/seo-mistakes-crappy-doorway-pages/ just
for fun). There's enough you can do without having to resort to this,
especially if your site is not in a strong competitve area.

4) Sitemaps has nothing to do with ranking, indexing. NOTHING. However,
if you don't want Google to take a good look at your site, then don't
call attention to it by using Sitemaps, Adsense, etc.

5) Google's algorithm changes. Google works on its system, it works
pretty hard and the results are generally getting better and better,
especially when you think about the amount of spam / junk that's out
there. If your site drops from one day to the next, it might have
something to do with something you just did (ie sitemaps), but it might
just as well be something that would have happened with the new Google
update anyway. If your site is clean, if your code is good, if your
off-site work is good, then you generally have little to worry about
(unless you are in a very competitve / spammy / borderline area).
However, if your site uses techniques as outlined by webado, then you
just have to expect that your site will be hit sooner or later by a
change in the algorithm.

It's tough, but it would have been avoidable -- and it's certainly not
the death penalty to your site. Get to work :-)

Cheers
John
