Good advice. Actually I prefer my mind-altering substance in liquid
form, and because New Year is a particularly Scottish thing, it's a
glass of Bells'.

That particular thing - the ignoranus neologism - just touches a nerve
because I _know_ I coined it back in 1996 and I have files on my system
with dates around then that prove it - but only to me. You can change
the date of a PC to anything you want - there's a little utility called
"touch.com" that was part of most early C compiler packages.

The wayback machine, unfortunately, only downloaded the page in 2001 -
around the disputed date. But it annoys me that someone actually won a
prize by claiming it as theirs.

To have some ass half-read a page and think it was used _referring_ to
me was just to much.
