[Gmail-Users] Better handling of multiple "accounts"

Dear Google,

Just a few polite requests for the next iteration of your Gmail
service:

1) Default the FROM address to the address the e-mail was sent TO if I
have it as one of my accounts, and I choose this behavior in Settings.

2) Associate signatures with accounts so when I change the FROM
address, it uses the associated signature.

Gmail is a great interface, and your decision to allow the FROM address
to be different is what let me permanently switch from Outlook for my
business and personal needs. Further making it a central place for all
my e-mail, spanning multiple accounts, will make it even better. And I
won't mind if you serve up polite, relevant ads for all my e-mail. :)

P.S. While I'm at it, how do I get Gmail to be my default e-mail
application on my Windows XP computer -- I use Desktop 2 and Talk, but
neither register Gmail as the default.
