Google maps in adwords now...

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but I follow adwords and google
maps groups and in the adwords blog they just posted this interesting
tid bit about google maps being put into the administration section of
adwords:

Now advertisers can use a map to target precisely where they want their
audience to be. Though at first this may seem insignificant since it
doesn't immediately impact our maps, my suspicion is that this confirms
what others have said about the convergence of adwords and maps.
They've figured out using the maps to help marketers manage their
adwords and I consider that a first step towards doing the inverse -
giving marketers the option of putting ads on the maps themselves.
