Out of Sync (OOS)

I have 2 videos recently uploaded in which the audio and video start
out together then drift out of sync (OOS) more and more as you get
farther into the video. The audio becomes delayed, lagging behind the
video.

Originally, I uploaded one large file in WMV format. That one was OOS
from the first frame. I attributed that to the WMV format.

So I re-rendered the video into two MPEG-2 parts, believing that is a
more-accepted format. I know It's been recommended that the
more-preferred format is MPEG-4. Currently I do not have MPEG-4
capability. I use Pinnacle Studio Plus ver 9.3.5 and have not yet
shelled out the extra few bucks for MPEG-4.

My original files (both WMV and MPEG-2) are completely in sync. So I
believe the problem occurs during Google's conversion to Flash video.

I render in what Studio calls DVD quality MPEG-2. The default settings
are: 720x480, Sample rate: 48 KHz, 224 Kbits/sec.

Can anyone tell me what settings I should use or if MPEG-4 will be any
better?

Thanks!
