Re: Sitemap gen apache log technique coupled with already existing sitemap : am i right ?

After about 24 hours experiencing this technic, sitemap_gen.py now has
automaticaly created a sitemap_index.xml file and 2 sitemaps.
(sitemap.xml.gz and sitemap1.xml.gz )
But since i specified <sitemap
path="/var/www/html/mysubdir/sitemap.xml.gz" /> , last hour
sitemap_gen.py did not touch sitemap1.xml.gz.

Now i am changing this setting to
<sitemap path="/var/www/html/mysubdir/sitemap*.xml.gz" />
