Re: Zoom and Marker Movement

Your values for .iconAnchor for all your GIcons are wrong.

This value tells the API which pixel of the icon is the one that should
be fixed to the geographical location indicated by marker.point.

Take a look at the red pixel on the image of the pointing hand on this
page: http://www.econym.demon.co.uk/googlemaps/custom.htm

As the zoom level changes, the location of other pixels of the image
will change their geographical location as the ground changes size
beneath the image.

Your .iconAnchor values indicate a transparent pixel in the bottom right
corner of the image, so all the visible points of your image change
position.

Try
camWest.iconAnchor = new GPoint(8,7);
