AdWords API hello

Hi ,

 i am ravindra from india. I am developing a desktop application "keyword software". There i need to display the ads competing in google for each keyword. I could find the google adword web services. Do i need to google Adword API. If not how can we do with the use of web services. Cud anyone help me.urgent.
