AdWords API Re: Updating your Shared AdWords Logins

Hi Sharif, thanks for having continued this conversation offline with us... as you very well pointed out, my previous answer in the Forum was plain wrong! Thanks for pointing it to me.
You were right, the migration of MCC is enough to get you going. I had overinterpreted the blog post.

"API developers will not  be required to update their AdWords account(s) until mid January.  However, we strongly  suggest that they complete the process in early November, especially with the  busy holiday season ahead of us.

While developers and their clients will still be able to use their old account logins through early January (provided that neither disables the old username), the old logins will ultimately be disabled in early 2006. If for some reason a developer is using an old login at that time, we will send them an email alert a few weeks before we disable the login."

No sorry, you need to migrate all accounts, MCC and clients.

I have a question about this -- if we keep all our account emails the
same and update only the root my client center email, will that be
sufficient? So in the soap header we would login with the new MCC email
and set the "clientEmail" attribute to the old account email. Thanks!
