[lug] Re: Kubuntu Wireless Problems

My main gripe about Kubuntu networking is that for wired adapters,
they need to be on for wake-on link notification. However, wireless
adapters suck a lot more juice, and I want to turn the whole freaking
contraption OFF. In windows I could do that, however, I haven't found
a way to do this in Linux. Just a little toggle on/off is all I want.
I know where the networks are, and 90% I'm not near them. If anyone
knows the solution to turning the thing off, that'd be great.
