AdWords API updateCampaign() results in "The specified country code is invalid" error

I am using the updateCampaign() function to pause a campaign every
Friday at 5pm. This has been working fine until today. Now I am
getting an error stating "The specified country code is invalid". The
only values that I am changing in the campaign is the endDate and the
status (setting to Paused). I do not change any other values. Any
ideas? Did the country codes in Google get changed this week and if
so, would that invalidate existing campaigns that used previous codes?
