[Gmail-Users] Re: Gmail vs. Hotmail vs. Yahoo Mail and the alternatives
Thats not really true regarding having to remember the persons name & subject or subject matter or keyword when dealing with the labels vs folders when archived argument. All you have to do is give said message a particular label when you archive it, then you can at least go to that label years later and find the message. It is virtually the same as a folder. Lets say you have folders and you throw a message into a folder labeled "personal" with a bunch of other messages. Years go by...you would still have to search through that folder to find the message you are looking for, and you would still have to click on the label "personal" to look through those messages to find it. As long as you attach a somewhat relevant label to each and every message you archive, it should be very easy to find the message you're looking for. Granted, if you use no labels and just archive EVERYTHING, then yes it will be like finding a needle in a haystack. But thats why labels are there...

archive is the option fine i know which takes u r mail from inbox to archive but years after u want to recollect any mail & if u forget the persons name & subject after which u can't recollect the system should be able to make u remind the same. In archive we have to remember the names of the person or the subject matter or any key word. but if a provising of folders is there then it would great so that any can be recollected after yesars together also.
