You fail to quote anything thereby making the following of this thread a
real nuisance.

If I am following you correctly, you have a rule that makes a copy of
any message that you send and places that copy in your in-box. Is that
correct?

I am not sure why you are saving a copy in your in-box for to start with.
I have several folders created to handle the different forums that I
belong to. Mail is sorted upon receipt to those folders. If I reply to
one of those messages, the reply can be, if I make a rule to allow it,
also saved in that folder.

I am not sure if MS Outlook constructs a thread in the fashion you are
describing. I use Becky Internet Mail for my personal email, and I can
make it work that way. I have Outlook for my business, but I have never
attempted to set it up the way you describe. I never save anything in the
in-box.

Out of curiosity, in your configuration, if one of your messages is
responded to, does Outlook save it as part of the original thread, or is
it just a random display that you see? I will endeavor to duplicate
that setup on my system if I get a chance in the next few days.
