This has been discussed several times in this forum. I posted a possible
solution, well not so much a solution but rather a course of action that
pertains to this problem. You could search for it under my name. It is
only a day or two old.

In the mean time, for time critical messages it would be advisable not
to use GMail until this problem is rectified.
