You know that you could just test this, by changing your language to French or German and seeing if the options are there (I assume that you know your way around GMail's interface to be able to navigate without reading what's on the links!).

For those English people (like myself) who want the new features, for now it is probably best to choose either US English for the new features or UK English if you want the *correct* spelling.
