[Google-Desktop-Developer] indexing for java, html, etc

I'm just starting to look at the api and I have a question that's
probably obvious to most of you; Why can't we just index all files?

I want to be able to search through all my different code files but it
I can't find a plugin that does this.

Maybe GDS isn't really what I need? But I am really fed up with Windows
search and I was hoping that it would be the answer.

I'm so confused as to why no one is indexing files like java, html,
css, c, cpp, etc. If someone is indexing these, I'd love to know about
it as well - thanks!
