Help!!! MOBILE SEARCH

Hi. I have recently joined a media company which provides to its
customers downloadable content from their mobile phones. Obviously the
first goal is to optimise the company's related wap site for google. I
have read all information concerning google mobile, sitemaps and the
like. The problem is that the site to optimise is accessible only from
wap browsers, which means that google spiders are unable to find it (or
i think that's the problem, from what my boss was trying to explain).
Anyway, to make it short, any recommendations/ hints/ clear steps from
google people or from someone who has managed to crack the google
mobile? (hopefully before i lose my job)
