The new machines are low-end models and do not include burners.

I am now wondering whether it would be faster to configure each workstation.  I tried to mount a second drive yesterday and after a 1/2 hr of screwing around, never did make it work.  It had the same drive mounted on hda and hdb.  Hmmmm
